The World Race has been a whirlwind. It has scared me for the past three years and I am back again ready and willing to face this challenge, that I just cannot shake. For those of you who are just joining my World Race Journey, here is a little backstory. I applied to go to World Race Summer of 2017 in hopes to launch August of 2018. At the time, I just finished partnering with another non-profit, where I was hosting small mission trips. My mind and my ambitious nature was ready for another adventure in the Lord. So I thought there was no better time than in that season to go on World Race. Makes sense….to me it did.
When preparation for WR started, I was so pumped…I could not believe that I was on this journey. I had my interview, got accepted, then I was on to next steps….Fundraising (we will get into that later) I just knew I was on my way. As time went on, things started to go left and I ended up not being able to launch. I was devastated, but I knew in the WAY BACK of my mind that God was not finished with me.
Fast forward to three years later, I am in the process of going on WR again and lets just say….I am feeling pretty good this time….for now (catch me again in a month) The Lord has brought solid community who pray for me, study His word with me, and hold me accountable to seek ye first the kingdom of heaven.
I know that I am qualified and God is equipping me for the work at hand. I am so excited to build relationships in America and take the love, prayer, accountability, and support with me across the country. And not just to hold onto it, but to spread it, until the whole world feels God’s love and hears God’s truth.
